Sorry if this is in the wrong location but I do not see anywhere else to place it.

What is wrong with the matching system? When will it be fixed if something is wrong with it?

Tonight, 3/5/2013 at 11:30pm eastern US time, I ended a match that had the following mechs in it.

My team:
Catapult K2 (Me)
Catapult (missile variant)
3 Ravens
Jenner
Commando
Hunchback

Opposing team:
2 Atlases
2 Catapults (missile variant)
2 Ravens
Centurian
Cicada

This is the 8th such match-up like this that I have encountered. All since the ELO was introduced.
Yes...for those that say "With no screenshot, it did not happen", I took one, but I do not know how to add it to this post.

Don't worry, no-one is going to call BS, there have been many screen-shots already. Long Story Short, the MM isn't taking weight into account as much as it once did (if at all), the Dev's know about it, and i think its being looked into. Your lucky it was just 2 assaults, there was a screenshot last week of 6 assaults 2 heavies vs 8 mediums.

The matchmaker now cares more about Elo than it does about tonnages. The longer you wait, the less picky it is. They will be tuning this in the future to help the weight disparities, but it's still better than pre-Phase 3.

Even with the tonnage imbalances, there are still far fewer 8-0 wipes. Enjoy it when you're on the heavy team, and do your best to come out with a good story when you get the short end of the stick. It's not as bad as you think.
