I hate to be one of those folks, but....actually, I don't care so much.

This has probably been suggested before(ooh, now I"m one of those people) but not that I've specifically seen so here goes~

Since they're going to allow us freedom to recolor our hero mechs, I was curious as to whether we'd get access to the colors that came with them. If not, we should.

For example, say I buy a Death's Knell, Flame, Fang and Ilya Muromets...I should suddenly have flame's red and blue, fang's black(and the red it shares with flame), the crazy blues on Death's Knell and the green/tan(or whatever) colors Ilya's got goin' on with its fancy starburst shenanigans unlocked for use on any of my mechs.

This would not only promote buying colors to match ones you've unlocked via hero mechs, it might also add another layer to someone's decision process when choosing which hero mech to buy(or whether they will at all).

I'm not really suggesting the free use of their camo patterns...but hey, if people want that as well, it wouldn't hurt to throw it in as an additional feature.





To paraphrase:

Lemme use the colors on my hero mechs for my non-hero mechs...and maybe(if people like the idea) let me use my hero mech's camo patterns for non-hero mechs as well.

More bang for your buck=more bucks spent.

I'm really upset, that i cann't change the cammo of my founders mechs. and I would have already bought some heroMechs if i could change their cammo and color too.

changable colors are coming in march - according to AtD 32
don't know about changing the camo though

the ability to use the camo on at least the same chassis would be neat

I would like to have the basic colors on my Hero mechs unlocked in my hangar. Would definitely be one more incentive to buy them.

I also like people in other threads suggesting a free mechbay slot with hero mechs. I mean, people have been suggesting that for a loooong time, but like I said more bang for your buck means more bucks spent.

So hell yeah for consumerism!

They would necessarily have to provide a way to return it to the stock color scheme, so perhaps that will absolve them of the need to provide you free paint unlocks.

Ive always wanted the hero schemes on my other mechs. The Pretty Baby's camo theme is sexy. The only problem with implementing this of course is that it reduces the novelty from the hero mechs themselves. This may upset hero mech owners who have no interest in seeing everyone else have the camo. I guess the argument comes into play as to whether or not the owners of a hero chassis should have the right to use the bought and paid for camo scheme on another mech.

I think a free hero mech bay for a hero mech is an excellent idea, the hero mechs cost a rather large amount of MC as is, and having to spend more MC just to accommodate my previous purchase seems a bit absurd.
