Looks streaks can fo all sorts of funny stuff with netcode and lag.. Even be able to hit and kill yourself.. YES i've killed myself with my own streaks once in river city.. Was firing as i encountered a wreck or some debris.. IT caused me to rubberband in front of my own missile. And with a damn near cored out back it was the end of me.

That could conceivably be if they are like mounted in your arms and you fire at someone behind-ish you. They gotta travel.
