After my game locked up last night and I had to kill the process I went to my stats page because I was curious if my team managed to win or lose and what did I find? I wasn't scored for either a win or a loss, just a death. Praise the lord it's about time. Now those folks out there who are considering alt-f4 to save their precious stats will hopefully realize that it's completely pointless.

Just a note: I don't really think the pratice is that common I'm more inclined to think it's a crash or hang like the one I get every so often.

I watched a few players DC before death last night ( generally teammates, I dont really give a damn when the enemy does it ), and more often than not in cheese builds ( watched two heavily damaged Splatcats for example, DC mid match ).

Was trying to figure out if there is an incentive to DCing again, or if it was just a complete coincidence.

But does the enemy get a kill? Players did not alt-f4 so they could save their stats, they did it because it robbed others of a kill. A fine fine way to make the pack of cheese ravens angry. When we get state-rewind on all weapons I am sure the alt-f4 problem will be gone.
