Greatings Warriors.
I want to share some of my first thougts about the new patch after 5-6 played games.

1. game seems a bit more "sluggish" (to use a word someone was using about it :D ), means it react a lil bit like your are sticking in deep mudd. all seems to be a bit delayed for me in comparison to before. must say i prefer a fluid gamestyle, do brawler runs and so, and by this gameplay you feel a more intensiv feedback then a lrm boater who most time stand still through aiming his rockets.

2. Srm´s seems to be nerfed a way to much. for 3-4 months now i play with exact 4 mechs. 4 phracts. i skill them to master, and by this way im stuck now with the last elite skill by the ctp2x. means i played this config for about 3 months in the same way. 2xsrm6, lb/x10 and LPlas. first tryouts where before the second last patch. good huntings, mechs seems to blow that bite that 2 srm 6 with lbx in one group alpha should deliver. then the first patch came. punch was significant smaller. nothing i couldnt live with, but before it feels more "natural" (canon like and gaming from mw2 on). so i adapted it. but by now.... shooting 4-5 alphas without having a real impact on enemy assault seems to be underpowered. (before i get slamed on this, i was at 300 to 200 m range, and this where experienced by almost every enemy i engaged in the matches)

by this way, the delay of firing seems to be to long. before me was able to shoot the alpha,
lbx-->srm6-->srm6 continious shell/rockets stream. now lbx fires, then with delay srm6, then with lil delay the last srm. i understand that if you fire 3-4 BIG weapons at once, the computer jungles withe reactor output to satisfy all demands. victor steiner got a delay if he fires gauss and largepuls at once in the canon. nice feature and want to see ingame, but not by 3 ammo-based weapons with low power consumption fire at once.

3. mehhh... kill me, but ive got to do this. why the ******* xl´s explode now that way to early. driving with a 300 standard and 3 xls, and the difference is so big about endourance. you still have the price in form of really heavy c-bill amounts for xls, you have to pay many crits (i now have discovered that a xl isnt always the best way, as i was thinking over years by designing mechs for TT/MegaMek/mw3 and so on. cause ac 20 and cphract xl... so damn bad man. even the "great illya" cant do it. sniff why this goes all the years before ;) ) and you explode even by having this disadvantages so early. dont get me wrong, like to drive standard and xl both, but pls make the xl´s a lil bit more stable :) AND please make the cphract ac20 AND xl ready. pls... ^^

by the modules, i´m not sure. if i got the both pilot skills for greater sensorrange, are they used automatic or have i to use a module or bap on mech to have the benefits?

that where my first thoughts about the new patch/gameplay now, and i would like you to type in your experience with it.

Have fun and stay noble warriors. we are the knights, not the pleasants :P

You need to learn where the shift key is. Capitalization helps.

SRMs are in no way under-powered. Running 2 x SRM2s on my Jenner-D and they are hard-hitters. It only seems under-powered because the damage is being spread out over the mech as opposed to being in one spot.

... not sure. maybe its only by my side. but steering the same config long time give you a feeling if something is changed. (by that way, im using artemis.) maybe the 2 weeks of fighting mwt wasnt good for my skills in mwo. but i have really the feeling that the punch by srm is cutted. 1 way through the damage or the other way cause now withe cphract 2 x for example, you got more of a 3 count hit then a real alpha. so your maybe right about the spread. but then pls tell me why shooting the alpha on a slow target like a atlas or stalker at 100 metres, who even is in fight with another mech, hitting with all weapons the same location makes no real damage =.0

no flaming, no crying, just asking if anyone can share my experience. by that way, ive also like you to told your overall gameplay experience since the last 3 patches. and wanna say that the games isnt so bad as some told. all a question of balancing and developing further, stay out the p2w theme by making all things buyable through mc OR cbills, cause the bonus of the mc is ONLY spare realtime by investing real money, you dont got to grind your lifetime for the wanted items. so wheres the problem then? if it is balanced, you have the freeplayers animated to play more to get their stuff, and the big whales have fun buying anyone without needing time to grind cbills (and miss all the fun) =.= keep up a good ear on the community, keep up with your orginal "we love mechwarrior (without money interests)" theme, and all will be fine :)
(and maybe someday start a whole bt universe as a f2p game, where people can play like in x3/eve or such things. wanna be strategic? play the mwt subpart. wanna be a pilot? play the mwo subpart. wanna be a politic or merchant? play the Universe subpart (like in SW OR or eve). all connected together...in one mmorg or however thats named today. hrhrhr i´m dreaming again :D

... is it so hard to give real answers O.O ingame someone told he maybe have experienced that too (and by that way, the srmfire sequence/delay is longer now) . so im only asking. no trolling, no crying. just for my safety, cause first way i was thinking thats my fault, but doesnt seems so. and the more slowish gameplay was also a question for me, not sure if it is lag related (have a overall ping of 110ms, sitting on a 20Mbit down and 0,5mbit up dsl-line with no fastpath) or gamebased, thats why im asking your experience too. thanxxs folks :)
