Shutting down the threads filled with criticism but keeping the hugbox threads open looks fairly shifty to me. If you are going to lock threads because they don't add anything, or because there is already a thread open on it, then don't ignore the "everything is fine, move along" threads. They add even less to these forums and should also be locked. Its hypocritical plain and simple.

The threads you call hugbox are actually people who arent say PGI you suck you ruined the game you dbags! and often have intelligent conversations. also the ratio of qq threads to positive ones is about 100:1 so what you are seeing is observation bias on your part. Relax. Stick to the forum they told you too, and stop qq about something that is CLEARLY not pay2win.

ALso, Everything is fine move along is NOT discussion about consumables, it is discussion as to the nature of qq on the forums, thus invalidating your own point. Thanks for doing that for me :)

Constructive posts are those blindly towing the company line of course! :)

But seriously, the thread has to have an actual interesting point to discuss.

Not everyone thinks their point is new, just that it needs to be hammered into PGI's head and shouted as loudly as possible.

This has happened many, many other times. Do you believe Bioware would've made the free Extended Cut DLC if the internet hadn't exploded after Mass Effect 3's release?

So shout it in the thread they created for just that purposes, spamming the boards with the same crap over and over does nothing but annoy everybody.
