I would like to apologize on behalf of the half-wits that seem to think that creating the same posts over and over and over will garner the attention that their mothers never gave them.

You shouldn't have to waste your time locking/merging basically the same threads over and over and over again, instead of looking for valid and constructive complaints and/or suggestions.

On behalf of the rest of the forum who is sick of the QQing, I'd like to give you permission to use the following for closing the threads of the future posts that have been made and remade over and over and over again:

Nothing to do with being "fanboy" or not you troll.

I'm sick and tired of everyone whining, moaning, and screaming in 15 different threads about the same damned thing.

If you had an IQ that was even a few points higher than a cinder block, you'd understand that throwing a tantrum like a 4 year old does nothing to get your point across, and simply makes any further "insights" you may have seem idiotic simply due to their source.

Apparently laying out a well-reasoned and evidenced argument doesn't get you anywhere here either, so is there really any purpose to these forums at the end of the day?

.
Question: What magical force is making you click on, then read the posts you are tired of, hmmm..????
.
I wonder, if there are so many posts about something, does that disqualify them, and make their issues irrelevant..??
I guess it's the things "NOT" posted about that are the real issues huh..??

and like most of these threads, when we point out that you are spamming the forums just as much if not more than the complaint threads, you turn to insults. If this thread doesn't get locked for not being constructive I'm going to be rather disappointed with the moderation team and their ethics.

Agreed, these threads are starting to get just as bad.

Then don't read them. Go play the game.

Or volunteer for the moderator program.

Havoc, the reason you're seeing so many posts about the same issue, is that much of this community does really care for this game, and wants to see it do well. Many of us feel that we are at an important juncture, which may take the game in a new direction, that most of us believe will ultimately ruin the nature of the game. We do not, however, have to go down that road. These conclusions are being reached based on similar patterns we've seen elsewhere.

Again, the reason we're speaking up, is we're trying to protect MWO, and actually PGI as well.

In truth you are actually hurting it. When a new player steps into GD and sees all of the crap load of complaints what do you think he is going to do?

That is sort of the point.

I can just imagine what their facebook and twitter dudes are going through. I haven't even went there yet.

A very small percentage of new players will read the forums before playing. The few new players that do read the forums will hopefully gain some insight into the fact that there are differing opinions as to preferred style of play and direction for the game and not just a herd of lemmings marching to the fanboy beat. That there is room for improvement in the game and that hopefully, there are signs of the development team paying heed to consumer concerns.

Well then you'd think the dev team and moderators of a beta game would learn that they should be discussing potential game format changes with the community before dropping a bombshell such as "We are going to a p2w format." out of nowhere, wouldn't you?

This is a ball dropped by the dev team, with a passionate response by the player base. I can't fathom how else they would have expected people to react when they decided to do this. Pretty sure - "Okay p2w sounds awesome!" wasn't on the list of options for possible results.
