I just got out of playing a few games after installing the new patch, and for the first 3 or so games, everything worked fine. My joystick bindings had held over from the previous patch, so I was happy I didn't have to fiddle with configuring my controls.

But around my fourth or fifth game, the two joystick buttons I use to turn left and right just topped working. Now they don't even begin a match working. No matter how many times I've tried resetting the keybindings options, they don't start working again.

I looked for the old config file or whatever it was that I modified originally so that I could use my joystick back when there was little support for it, but I didn't find it. Either the patch wiped it, or I'm just not looking hard enough.

It's just weird to me that it was working perfectly fine for multiple games, and then suddenly, they just stopped working and haven't started up again.

Any thoughts as to what's causing this or what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance!

After this patch I was able to run around the new map in the testing grounds one time. I launched assault and now my gamepad throttle, map and stats dont work.

I seem to have fixed it. Hopefully it's not something that will reset itself or something in the next few matches.

I found an old forum post here that detailed how to configure joysticks before this patch. I went to the specified directory and found that I didn't have a "defaultProfiles.xml", so I created one and pasted in the given code. I had to assign the necessary bindings for my turning buttons there, and I set everything else in the in-game options.

It works like normal now, but I'm concerned that the reason I lost my turning control in the first place is that the game is deleting the "defaultProfile.xml" file or something due to the new updates regarding joystick support. Hopefully this fix will hold, and I won't have to wrestle with the game files for awhile.
