This 100%, however, I am sure those on my team with it enabled will enjoy me spamming music on the VoIP!

Lol I miss using mumble on BF2PR, area voip so I could play the most random music while rolling around as armor crew. People could always hear the music just before they could hear the vehicle.

Pugs just don't get it.
There is no challenge in stomping some noob pug.
We don't want to play with pugs period.
If ya want to solo fine, that's great.
Do it myself.
The issue is House Davion vs. House Kurita.
The Northwind Highlanders vs. Hansen's Roughriders.
Not a bunch of ronin mechwarrior's running around from fight to fight.
And without that newb pug with the last ECM pretending to be a Stalker.
Come on guys there enough room for both play styles.

I do not understand why people continuously bring up this argument. There are games with voip built in and teamwork does not magically appear within those games.

and don't forget that trolls will eventually starts singing in the voice chat..a sanamabich indeed

It's been PGI all along that hasn't gotten it. Pugs have wanted to fight clans about as much as clans wanted to fight pugs. PGI dropped the ball on this issue really hard, and still haven't managed to recover the fumble properly. If they'd done it right from the start I'd have been in a team since day one.

Yep, team play is definitely a good thing...as long as they play against other teams. The problem is, that is not what most teams want to do. They prefer to PUGstomp and they know it (and sometimes admit it). They want the 90+% win rates and K/D ratios and CBills that go with it, at the expense of the lone uncoordinated non-VOIP PUGgers. So, no sympathies from me in that regard.

They should have the following matchmaking modes:

4 man teams
4-7 man teams
8 man teams
Solo PUG matches (which are never matched against the above team modes)

This way, the whole PUG vs. Premade argument dies and goes away, and the teams get to play against other teams (and the closer to 40-60% K/D ratios and Exp and CBills that come with it).

Yes, now with Elo, 4 men drop mean nothing. Often we are 5 to 6, so 2 people cannot play with us !!!! plz, Allow more then 4 players !

Well if they have elo working why can't they go back to having one group mode of 1-8.

Teams don't like having to constantly totally disband their 4 man or 8 man group to switch to one or the other. If anyone has done this before this is a major pain in the A.

A quick fix solution would be just have one group formation feature and not allow the Group leader to launch unless it's 1-4 or 8 players.

My guild have know each other since 1996 this 4 man 8 man has destroyed all teamplay out of 43 members 5 might play now as this whole setup destroyed the community we had. Now it seems I am punished when i drop solo thrown in with people that have no concept of warfare. its about time for TEAM be put back in in any number 5 6 7 8 we played this game back mpbt and now its noncommunity nonteam game antisocial is more like it

There should be a team que where you could drop with 2-8 but only meet others that drop grouped. I hope that is what you mean. If you complain about not being able to team up with large premades against pubbies, well then laughter is all you get back with a nice bonus of getting your arse kicked if you dare to join as a pubbie yourself with your inflated stats.

Zero sympathy for the weak premaders that want their stomping back like it was in closed beta. :)

I still feel it's about making the group leader easily change the group to 4 to 8 or 8 to 4. Just add a check box to make it an 8 man group and deselect it to make it 4. Sheesh. Saves group reformations at least a couple minutes when everyone says f this i'm logging.

Who said that solo players aren't loyal to the brand, or haven't been playing since closed beta? This idea that pre-made teams are the only BT fans is crazy.

Thanks for that. Total agreement!

I normally play solo or with 1 other person and I love BT. It's far more exciting to have the dynamics of danger, as danger's only present the majority of the time when you don't have your preset mob.

I find full premades to be funny, but not fun. Every once in a while it's good to watch everyone rip apart like paper in seconds but the game holds no longevity for me this way.

I want to sometimes be smoking with a flashing red cockpit and fire my last set of ammo into someone, barely scraping by for a memorable experience. Or desperately hold off against 4 mechs descending onto my location, only to die in a hail of bullets!!! awww yissss
