Like in the Cataphract's head and the Dragon's CT?

Is it even worth it to carry a single SSRM2 for swatting pesky lights?
Or one LRM5?

SRMs are kinda poopy at the moment, so...

SSRM.

Even one can often put a jenner or raven off going for you.

But tbh, it depends on the build, its not critical to fill every weapon slot with a weapon just because there is space for it.

You'll probably find it more effective to place a heatsink with the tonnage to support you main weapons then 1 SSRM for example.

It all depends on the build.

I don't bother. Either I use the tonnage for more DHS, a bigger engine, or AMS/BAP, in that order.

LRM5 for scouting for AMS over hills, etc.

Depends on the mech. On my Cataphract 2X, I keep two SRM6s in its left arm (two missile hardpoints). Two SRM6s in my Hunchback 4SP, one SRM6 in my Raven 3L.

I haven't used LRMs since I tried a LRM5 in my Raven (about four or five months ago) for laughs (it didn't feel worth it).

Edit: Okay I guess that's not "depends on the mech". Should have said "Either I use SRMs or nothing".
