This has been happening for some time to me (with VERY significant regularity), but the last letter of chat is interpreted by the game (even if it is clearly contained in the chat message) as a keystroke outside of chat.

This has caused me to turn on the override and power down my mech to fatal effect.

I've tested this, and it isn't 100% repoducible. Rather it seems to vary match to match (if it happens, it happens always).

Never had it happen personally. What controller system are you using? Maybe this is specific to your device/s? Also this should probably be in a different forum, probably the hardware etc one.

I don't see how that could be possible. It happens in no other games I play or software I use (i.e. pressing enter does not cause an additional keystroke of the last key I pressed), just MWO, and moreover, I can get it to work roughly every other time I do it (possibly more often). I know people had issues with chat sending commands to their mech in the past as well. I'd definitely say it's a software issue with MWO, at any rate.

I've had this happen... so there is an sort of an issue with chatbox translating stuff you type as mech input.
