The title seems to cover my question but to elaborate
I am not going to be able to play till almost the next patch - at best so I cannot test this myself
Will we be able to use the training mode offline?
The way it is phrased makes me think yes, but the way they say we access it makes me think no.
If it is offline this is wonderful news to me and all the others with limited internet time (mine tends to cut out unexpectedly - allright for surfing websites if I am patient, no good for games)
If it is online only (I have to log in to access it type thing) then this will severly limit it's usefullness to me, and probably others.
-To note, if it is online -I am not going to complain, they have what seems to me and my limited knowledge a strong anti-hack/cheat setup by keeping everything on their side of the server, and I would not want them to lose that.
Thanks in advance for the help

No, you won't be able to use it without being connected to the internet.
note that you must LOGIN to the game before you can do anything, including the training ground, and your currency, mechs, loadout, inventory, etc are all stored server-side (if you go to a different computer your mechs and money all come with you, don't they?)

Well crap, that rules out a lot of what I was hoping to do between visits to my friends houses >.>
Thanks though.

An offline training ground would be nice. My connection goes to hell on weekday evenings and weekends so have limited playtime and do not want to sacrifice 'live' play, c-bills and xp to run around in training, would be great for satisfying those urges to play when several thousand ping make it impossible online. Damn contention ratios.

I would assume that if MWO sticks around long enough people will do to it what they did to WoW and you can get yourself an offline version to play with though >.>
