As the topic says, is there a way to change the size or color of text? When text comes up the color makes it so I have to look at a dark mountain or some other background like that. I can barely see what anyone is typing. Being able to change the size or color would help alot.

Unfortunately not at this time. If you're having trouble reading chat perhaps you should change your monitor settings? I've never had trouble.

If I change any of those settings then the game looks really weird. Guess Ill just have to suffer.

I'm aware that there is a user.cfg command which can do this. Unfortunately I do not know what that command is. You may try asking PGI in a support ticket? They're usually fairly accommodating.

Recently reported that there are user.cfg files being passed around to 'enhance' the graphics -- that isn't bad. However the one of them that I reported removes all trees, smoke, fire, etc. Essentially 'clearing' the view to make it easy to see and shoot enemies.

Essentially if you can think it, you can probably do it with the user.cfg if you know how. Check out CryEngine commands? You might find a text changing option there.

Beware that with everything else on the user.cfg, this will potentially affect Everything.
