i get to aim the ERPPC on my jenner now.

before the PPC / ERPPC was fairly unpredictable when aiming at high speeds. i was just in my jenner going 142kph fighting a streakmando and for the first time ever i was allowed to hit him consistently!

i have had this build since mid way through closed beta and the ERPPC has always been almost impossible to hit with. it would fly at strange angles related to your turn when you were going at high speed but it never went anywhere near where you were aiming when you pulled the trigger or when the shot actually went off. it was utterly useless in close range light mech fights and i had to line up bombing runs if i wanted to hit slow or stopped mechs.

it is fixed now though. the developers have removed the chains from my ERPPC jenner. now all shall suffer my wrath!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

They haven't added in state rewinding for PPCs yet...

It's pretty good at the moment... I've gotten somewhat lucky shooting ravens in the leg, so it's not that bad... yet.

I think the OP is talking about firing lag (ie, a delay between when you push the button to fire and when the weapon actually fires), and yes, it's gotten significantly better recently for me, too, though I don't remember seeing them mentioning a fix for it.

Regardless, thank you for reminding me to thank PGI, blinkin, though I must question the sanity of someone running a Jenner with an ER-PPC. Now my two large laser build, that makes perfect sense.

P.S. -- No, it doesn't. :)

Awesome. And now I happily go buy another Mechbay to put this little fiend back in the rotation.

Bugfixes and playability upgrades = more $$$ for PGI.

Awesome.

most light mechs don't like taking 10 points of damage to the face. for the first time in a long time i feel like i at least stand a chance against all of the light mechs with streaks.
