Ive noticed since the patch that energy weapons aiming in completely off at times. If you are standing in front of an enemy and firing at them, there seems to be no problems, but when an obstruction is near to when you are firing, the lasers seem to fire at weird angles and will hit the obstruction instead of your enemy. Ive been really paying attention to it my last 30 or so games and it is definitely off. I even went to the test server and tried a few angles. They are definitely off. You can be standing away from a building or hill, with plenty of room to walk by it without hitting some part of your mech on it. Then you fire on your enemy and the laser closest to that side will shoot the building instead of your intended target. Ive also tested it at different distances, like putting some hills between you and your target that are far enough way that the laser should shoot between the hills and hit your target. Most of the time they just hit the hill. The most obvious example of aiming being off is the flamer. Ive only done it a few times on the commando, but you can aim for the cockpit of a mech and it will shoot side and center torsos or arms instead of where it is being aimed.
