I disagree with all the cataphract hate. I really love my Muromet which I know, is a "Hero" mech but the way I have it set up is some of the most fun I've had with a mech in a long time. I have an ERPPC in the right arm, AC 20 in the right torso with 3 tons of ammo, plus 2 med lasers to balance things out. Once I put that together MWO has been a totally awsomer (don't think thats an english word) game for me. Even tho its a hero mech I think there would be another variant that could b set up similar. Plus it travels at 73 KPH with speed tweek. Just my 2 cents tho. I'm no one special

You can do something similar with the other chassis as well.
It doesn't really matter, if that load out on that mech gets good results, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Nicely said. All that matters is if your having fun with it while being productive. The having fun part comes first before the productive part in my opinion.

So the poptart is the only thing to compete with the Catapult as a heavy? I've seen some decent dragon pilots but I can't help but feel that if they had a better mech they'd be amazing.
How are the sniper builds for Phracts with the new changes? I'm finding my AC20 is less reliable than it used to be, fraction of a second of pause to fire. What are some good Phract builds that people enjoy and why?
