SO you are running with your team and you want to assist a certain member.

My suggestion would be to have a button where you click on a teammate and /Assist him and his map/Teamcolor change to maybe like yellow so instead of Blue and Red you will have something that brings your attention to him faster. Or something along those lines

and as well take it further where his target pops on your screen as well in the reticule.
