HI,

I am concerned about the introduction of CSSRM4 and CSSRM6 when clans will be introduced, the potential for abuse is definitely there. What about radically changing the SSRM use mode? This is the idea:

1) Make them launch automatically on lock if the target is in range.
2) Lock sequence would not start if the target is out of range.
3) Unable to chainfire because point 1 (addressing the main complaint).
4) The lock is lost after launching, reacquisition would be required. The rationale would be that it is the loaded salvo that locks on the target, not the launcher itself.
5) Switchable in normal SRM mode without lock (and chainfire possible).

ECM, BAP and modules would affect lock like now.

An implementation like this would make them different from anything seen since MW2.
