Why exactly do I have to even spend the XP on those mechs that dont benefit from it at all?

So you can unlock elite. Every mech takes the same amount of exp to get to elite.

It is a non-issue. Not like it takes long to get 1500 mech XP. There are MANY more important things to complain about in this game. (And I say that as a player that is reasonably happy with the current state of the game)

I'm not positive, but I THOUGHT the arm reflex one applied to torso twist on mechs without real arms.

Speaking as a paramedic for over 15 years.... plenty of people do not bother going to the toilet for their "business". I remember a rather *infamous* drunk with the nickname of "Drunken Master Whothrowpoo". Of special note is the fact that this individual was actually BANNED FROM THE JAIL. (If he had done something truly heinous I am sure that they would still take him in, but for drunk and disorderly, public intox, vagrancy and the like he was not allowed to come to the jail.)

The mech efficiencies is on the long list of things that are in need of and will eventually be overhauled, I just think of it as a placeholder for now.

Absolutely... ;)

They should ditch that particular one and average the cost over the remaining tech, cuz that would show them!

Every mech has arms. They can't all move the laterally, but can all move them vertically more than their torso. It still applies.
