After seeing the papercraft Catapult recently, I have been thinking. I want Piranha to work with a model company to make high quality resin or metal statues of their mech designs. Make these 10" - 15" tall and they can be either alone or in a battle scene. Please make this happen! I will hand you my credit card right now.

Why not just ask them work with Iron Wind Metals, (the folks that took over casting battlemechs for TT)? Besides Iron Wind has been using the same molds forever and most of them need a nice revamp. Granted, they are not 10 - 15 inches.

They could, but as you mentioned Iron Wind specialises in miniatures. I own a few myself. I do agree though, I would also love them to release a line for my BT TT game.

There are guys who did it themselves, so it is possible if you have teh right equipment at home.

When it comes to making a series of those mechs, I think there could be lots of potential problems due to the fact this is mechwarrior and not Battletech license. ;)

there's a small community that makes their own N-Scale resin sculpts, I've seen them on the Lords of the Battlefield forums a lot, though a lot of their communication seems to be within themselves.
