Can a stalker be a brawler? Can't torso twist due to huge nose, and will we eventually be able to choose maps (or select preferance) so we can custom our loadout to suit enviroment (heat, open spaces, speed etc..)?

Will We Eventually Get To Choose Maps? Also, Stalker Brawler?

Considering they are wanting people to bring balanced loads and not specialized, I doubt we will be able to pick preferences or maps.

It's kinda hard to brawl with a stalker at ranges any closer than about 250 meters. Torso twist becomes a major issue. I can do pretty good in the 250 - 500 meter range bracket though, but it's best if the target is otherwise engaged and not trying to close on me.

Stalker can be an anti-Assault weapon. At one time I was running five srm6's and would just give atlases hugs.

Stalkers can be awesome brawlers, in large part because of the hilarious number of SRMs they can mount. Even the ones that can't torso-twist are like tank destroyers in that you really, really don't want to be in front of them.

If I have a light/medium escort, my 5 SRM and laser Stalker is a decent brawler. If lights get all over you, it's over without help. The key is to be smart about alphas, take down anything that's remotely close, and watch your heat.
It is hilarious to watch mediums and heavys rush you head on, get leveled, and have their teammates do the same thing seconds later.

Played in a game where I did ~550 damage with my DRG 5N. Pretty good, by all accounts. I was second place on my team.
Guess who was first with 1138 damage?
Brawler stalker.
