I ran into something I hadn't seen before, and I am wondering how someone else would have handled this situation.
We're playing a match where we're winning the brawl handily, but we're getting close to losing on points. The other team is at about 670, while we're at less than 400, I believe it was.
We're down to having to kill one raven and one hunchie, but an ally on my team in an awesome decides to "protect me" by pushing in front of me and blocking all my weapons from being able to fire.
I have still have front armor, but no back armor. We've overmatched our opponents in weight and firepower by quite a bit at this point, but he won't let me fire, and I don't see him shooting.
I move around and he sticks to me with his faster engine. I can't get away.
I finally see a clear shot at the RVN, so I take it. Half my shot clears the AWS and hits the RVN. Half hits the AWS and cores him.
He spends the rest of the match ranting at me in chat for killing him. We ended up losing on time just barely unable to kill the HBK before we run out of time.
What am I supposed to do in that situation? Any suggestions? I can't tell if he was griefing me or just really thought he was helping by leaving my armorless side exposed and my weapons blocked.

Do exactly what you did and don't dwell on it. I guess you could have tried communicating in some fashion to get out of your way, but it's hard to type in combat so I don't fault you for that.

Tough call, but in retrospect, and seeing as it happened anyways, I would have killed him earlier and saved the game. j/k
Just ignore the ranting. To bad he did not explain himself but alas they never do.

You did the right thing if someone must stand right infront for your guns chances are hes gunna get hit. I try not to shoot teammates but i also try to make sure im taking angles that will let me shoot as well as my team. Anyway he should know standing infront of an atlas will get you shot by him or the other team but you will get shot.

Curious, how did you determine the OP was driving an Atlas?

He did say he was sticking to me on purpose to protect me. I have no idea why, since he was actually doing the opposite in the given situation.
