Templar Exodus Order is hosting an Atlas Dueling Tournament today at 5pm Eastern. This is a 16 person, 1 vs 1, Round Robin Tournament. This tournament will be Atlas 'Mechs only. The winner will be the person with the most points after all of the Rounds. If you are interested in joining the tournament PM me, and I will send you the information.

You might have some trouble doing this as the kills challenge is at the same time. Cool idea though, Broceratops supports all community initiated events!

Well I had this planned prior to the DEVs coming out with their tourny. We only need 6 more people to make this viable.

Would remind me of Rock Em Sock Em Robots lol. I like the idea! and would be interested if I wasn't busy today. Good luck though!

Wondering, how would you set the fight up? drop in as a premade and fight each other? Or am I reading this wrong and is just a "which atlas can get the most points in a round tournament"?

2x 8 mans drop together (we do it in conquest mode so we are much more likely to match up). Players that are set to fight each other are on opposite teams so as not to incur any penalties. The first tournament we had (last week) was Medium 'Mechs. We had 2 fights going on at the same time. A win in your duel gains 2 points, and a draw gains 1 point each. Draws happen as we have a 2 minute time limit per duel, and if the damage % on each 'Mech is within a certain percentage of each other is is considered a draw. After all of the rounds (we did 8 rounds last weekend out of a potential of 15) the person with the most points is considered the winner. If there is a tie for 1st there is a best 2 our of 3 tie breaker duels.

LOL...thanks for the Bump. The tourny was suppose to start 15 minutes ago. I was trying to get some people quick. As we are still short a couple of people I am opening it up to Any Assault 'Mechs.

So, you're obviously required to take a DDC to attempt to stop LRM boats, right?

Well, either way, LRM boats with some PPCs to support will definitely win this.
