Hey does anyone know what impulse is? I keep seeing it in Smurfy's and MWO wiki but can't figure it out.

Is it how much the cockpit shakes after a shot?

Ok, basically, it's:

Damage done X Impulse = Cockpit shake.

It's used with calculating an earthquake simulation.
