On every MMORPG that I have ever played on, there is a Player versus Enemy aspect that helps one get used to the game mechanics and allows for a certain amount of XP and Money to be gathery ed so that one can make a propper splash in the Player V Player aspect of the game. With a universe and story as rich and varied as the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe, I cannot help but to notice the absence of a PvE story mode,a mode I think that this game would benefit greatly in implementing. So...Is that in the works for the future or is this game going to be a glorified "World of Tanks?" (which is not a bad game, actually) Even Battlestar Galactica oline has a story mode (it's incredibly limited but it's there) So I implore the Devs: PLEASE ADD A STORYLINE TO THIS GAME!!

Pve "story" Missions

It would be great to have a PvE side of MWO, but they have already stated that it's not going to happen anytime soon or possible ever

That said, I would certainly like to see far more immersion from the MWO experience.
I'm honestly sad that the clan invasion is going to ammount to a footnote for the actual game. There was so much potential to drum up the faction pride and community warfare within the Inner Sphere - then actually have the clan invasion be something that is -felt- by the community.
They should have waited to start the 'real time clock' until they actually were ready to remove the "beta" title from the game.
I would also like to see more objective based play that actually feels more like you are taking part in a dynamic environment. Convoy intercept/escort missions, base assault/defense missions (with assets that must be defended and a final score based on what is destroyed/preserved for each respective team)...
Right now, there's just so little immersion - and they are continuing ahead with a release schedule that, unless they have some real doozies in store, will simply amount to just a mere splash compared to the tidal wave that was the clan invasion.

Here, Here, more objective based missions would be a step in the right direction. if they cannot introduce a PvE storyline to the game, then at the very least they could add some real depth to the ISN headlines they post.

Thing is, this ISN'T a MMORPG... Although I do support a form of PvE.
