I firmly believe people undervalue machine guns and specifically the SDR-5K. I thought I would play it just to unlock elite on the 5D, but it's ended up being my favorite mech. Think of it as an assassin in the Mechwarrior battlefield. It fulfills a very specific and useful role.

I'll write out a guide soon. For now, here's this:

Man, I really can't publicize this enough, but try it with a medium laser (Or pulse once you get used to the feel) and and AC/5. It is so, so sosososo much fun.
