Have been going back and forth deciding which faction i want to be part of in game and think i've settled on FRR but have never played with any of you guys... lemme know!

Haven't heard of one. Herding cats comes to mind, though.

LOL- Space Vikings don't need to talk, do they? Just pound their chests, drink mead, and fight...

Some units have their own private TS channel. As for a FRR dedicated channel; haven't heard of one.

If someone was willing to set one up, that'd be pretty useful for setting up matches

Right now some of my group uses Skype to communicate, so if we could set up an "Allthing" Skype chat, that'd be pretty interesting and useful once CW comes around, or just to schedule events and 8v8 skirmishes.

Pfft... I herd my 3 cats every day. Now, herding Company Grade Officers is way harder...We made sure of it. :)

There are plenty of DC people in the FRR, so that should read "Space Samurai Vikings".

Easiest place to go is No Guts No Galaxy, it's public, but also supports a variety of Factions and Merc Units

No Guts No Galaxy Teamspeak 3 Public Server Info:

There's also community-run servers here, that has an FRR channel toward the bottom of the list:

(Comstar EU) Address: eu1.mech-connect.net
Password: hG5!4Dg*

(Comstar NA) Address: na1.mech-connect.net
Password: WordofBlake

That address took me to "Precise Shot Firearms". Do I need to put a www in front of it?
Not that I know what I'm doing, but I'm curious about how to listen to my teamates during a match.

...if I absorb enough info, I might eventually act on it. :(

Nope, just put it into the server address field in Teamspeak 3.

If you need Teamspeak 3, go here.

Heh, The address is a TeamSpeak3 server, so you need the TS3 client, first. Plugging it into a web browser will net you different results. Syllogy's link will get you the client, which is free and easy to use. Then just plug the address into the server line when you go to the Connections menu.
