[TheFlyingScotsman: When you release/unlock 12vs12 combat and voice chat, do you plan on implementing any maps or scenarios that enforce separate lances of four operating independently towards a common goal? I can already see three lances each trying to take and hold a conquest objective in Alpine, but will it go further than that with new/planned game types?
A: We’re looking at several game modes that will take advantage of 12 v 12. Scenarios are generally more of a single player concept which is something we’re not following up with at the moment.

Dear PCI...
Please think outside the box here!
This is not tribes or unreal... MWO's game modes should feel more like missions and less like playing Unreal in mechs.
Use exp, g-exp, and c-bills to encourage players to follow the mission parameters.
Mission idea (and I would love to see players come and post their ideas)
Proposed Game Mode:
Destroy/Defend
- set a time limit which varies from map to map
- 3 nodes, each note possesses about 100 armor but are under the protection of 6 or so AMS (to cut down LRM spam on targets)
- Team A gets points for each node that survives. Team A gets exp/gexp/c-bills for taking out mechs and for being at each station (within a radius) + more "success points" for CW
- Team B gets points for damage dealt to each node. Team B gets more exp/gexp/c-bills for destroying nodes over taking out all the other mechs + more "success points" for CW
- You just forced the 12 man to split into 3 lances…
