Ok guys,
Have any of you noticed the floating shadows of your mechs when you stand on a hill? This can be changed in CryEngine and I think its worth discussing.

Anyways, a simple and quick suggestion, which hopefully gets red by some developer.
Here are some basic CryEngine comparison shots.

With terrain Shadows

It would be really nice to have terrain shadows enabled for "Very High" Shadow specs at least.
In Alpine in particular the terrain shadows really seem like a missing element and sometimes destroy the immersion, when you see your own mech's shadow floating around somewhere with no ground below.

For everyone who uses his own user.cfg - the command is
e_GsmCastFromTerrain 1

So guys, this is really really something which can be easily changed by the developers, it's literally just the one command (plus they probably need to verify the integrity of the feature afterwards, but it worked for Crytek so I don't see too much testing required)
If you think this should be implemented just leave a comment and don't let the threat get forgotten quickly, so that hopefully a dev can see this.
(I will admit I tried to have the Topic Name a little catchy, hope this helps.
It seems like no normal useful consideration is acknowlegded at all if there is no poll or some super eye-catchy scandal title.)
