There definitely aren't enough things to unlock on the mech trees with XP. One suggestion is to expand the master tier by adding a "Compact Life Support (1 extra free generic slot in head) for 15,000xp", and a "High Density Gyro (gyro is reduced to occupying 3 slots instead of 4) for 25,000xp", in conjunction with the current extra module slot priced as is. There's all sorts of new tiers that could be added as well like a "Master Trainer" or "Commander" that could eventually 2x the elite class for perhaps 30,000xp. Point is the current scheme is a little unfulfilled to many players hopes or playability as it stands.
