While this alone wont fix Flamers, do you think it would be a step in the right direction to make Flamers spread damage across multiple sections on a mech?
If you have yet to test it, jump into training grounds with a flamer, and you will see that if you hold it in one spot, it will damage only one component at a time (much like a very underpowered laser with travel time).
