I suggest to implement more options for a tie.
e.g. if both teams cap and one has 95% and the other 100% of the cap.
I mean where is the win here?

You don't declare 100m sprints a tie if the 2nd guy is 0.1 s behind the 1st one.
Currently there are only 2 ways to get a tie: a) the last 2 opponents killing each other. time running out.
And it should remain that way.

I never understood sprints in the first place or marathons:
Wow this guy did it in 1 hour 15 min 2 seconds while that other guy took 1 hour 15 min and 1.47 seconds.

Because one guy finished it faster, same as any other race or scored event.
