It's the UAV.
UAV is a consumable drone that's launched from the top of your mech into the air. It can pick out ECM units, and gives eyes so you can see targets over hills or behind structures if the building is low enough for the UAV to have line of sight.

Only consumables and ECM have symbols on the side of the screen. The one in the blue square is the UAV
