I was running through the training ground with my Cent-D with 2 mlas and 2 ASRM6 when I came across a bug. I dropped on Frozen Colony(day), toggled my doors open, and quickly fired on the commando with both SRMs. Instead of the usual single volley of 12 missles, I get 2 volleys of 6. I check my weapons and chain-fire is off. I only have 2 weapon groups mapped; 1 is for the mlasers and 2 is for the SRM. I press the 2nd mouse again... chain-fire. I toggle chain-fire on/off and fire again and all 12 missles fly. I proceed to the Catapult and press 2... chain-fire. As I continued through the level it kept alternating so that, on average, every third time I fired a salvo I would get a chain-fire. Setting to chain-fire always worked as intended; firing 2 volley of 6 missles. I have not been able to duplicate this again, but the odd behaviour was consistent throughout the entire training level. I will update this thread if I can duplicate the bug with other mechs or weapon groupings.
Thanks for taking the time to read these things and keep up the good work!

I was getting something like this on the SRMs in my Stalker 3F. I didn't think to check chainfire but some of the launchers (seemed like the torso launchers) weren't firing all of their tubes at once. I tried with both SRM6s and 4s.

Your bay doors are shutting causing a delay on firing the missiles.
U can press / and it will toggle them to stay open.

Testing Grounds seems to have some bugs in it still. SRMs firing in multiple volleys even when you have enough tubes is one of them. Another bug is that lasers' cooldown timers start as soon as they're fired, instead of at the end of the beam's duration. These issues seem to be unique to the Testing Grounds and don't happen in an actual match.

As stated the "chain firing SRMs" is a testing grounds bug, but only when your doors are closed.
