Hey all,

Just wondering if this patch coming will have optimisations? I'm still waiting for a few fps issues to be ironed out which didn't exist prior to a couple of patches back. I couldn't see any notes relating to optimisation but perhaps they come out every patch without mention?

(this isn't a whinge thread or anything of the sort - just a query as I am not too "in the know" regarding the update process.

There are a few things I notice from patch to patch that aren't covered in the patch notes.

Mostly I['ve noticed the patch notes only really cover things from the following list:
  • New content (maps, mechs, modes, equipment, etc..)
  • Things People have QQ'd about (buffs and nerfs)
  • New elements (not content stuff we didn't have before)
  • Obvious stuff (anything you can see with your eyes)
  • Anything that will make a serious to dramatic impact on the game
a bunch of little tweaks and what not like you'd expect to see in a technical patch notes list are generally not included in any detail in the publicly released notes.

If your performance suddenly drops while everyone else says it's fine, try a full uninstall/reinstall of the game. Probably won't work for everyone, but it does work for some people.

That aside, check your video card and CPU heat. Sometimes it's just the old PC breaking down and running too hot. This is a frequent cause of FPS issues and crashes.

Hope you fix it.
