this has probably already been discussed and settled long ago but i cant find anything about it so

With fact game while open to everyone is still technicacly a Beta what happens to all our items when the game goes Live? will there be a full reset of everything so everyone starts at same level? thats usualy how it goes for MMO's from beta to live, But im hoping its differnt for MW:O since its a F2P it will just be a seemless transition to live with the "Beta" being more of a "warning your our guinea pigs DANCE PIGGIES DANCE!!!!" (sorry carried away there)


anyways will we keep everything we have bought(cash) or earned (c-bills/exp), id assume in event of a wipe people would have MC refunded and just have to spend again.

You will keep what you have, the last reset was from closed to open beta, I am not sure but they might wipe stats but that should be it.

Yeah, to verify it has been explicitly stated that there will be no wipes of your c-bills or MC or mechs or any of that.

the only thing I've heard they plan to wipe (at some later time) is stats, but all your earned incomes, purchases, XP, etc will not be wiped.

Yeah, thanks for clarifying things. Does anyone know if the stats wipe will also wipe ELO and matchmaking data?

Assiprinz, I don't think there will be a stat wipe. There was the "maybe if needed" mentioned when we went from closed beta to open beta but they didn't wipe stats when they put Elo in so I'd be surprised if they wiped them later.

To further assure you, when they changed how the Camo schemes work they refunded the MC/C-Bills people had spent to change the look of their mechs.

It was said a stat wipe would go hand in hand with the introduction of the Achievements system (Achievements were originally scheduled for mid-March but were not included in the March creative director update). Not sure if this will include matchmaking/elo wipe or not, and I would not be surprised if they changed their mind about stat wipe entirely.
