If you win a lot of games in one weight class, queues start to get longer. Go figure.

Well... it's normal.
The more you win and kill, the higher your ELO and farther away you are from the average player, therefore there would be less people with an ELO similar to yours, which mean it would be harder to pair you with someone, so the system would take more time... and it all adds up to a longer waiting time. Logical!

i can't wait until they fix the streaks and then all of the streak newbs get punished by ELO for abusing the system.

but back a little more on topic. they should set it up so that the average ELO for each team is the same (or close). that also presents some issues but i think they are less than segregating the population based on skill.
