I think it's win/win. Especially for the IS. If the IS wins a fight, then they "prove" how superior they are. If the Clan wins, the IS pilots can say, "Well what do you expect?"

While I favor it, I would forsee much whining, moaning and kvetching from people about it being "unfair".
