Would be convenient to see the people I've dropped with in my 2-4 man group as slightly different, or very different color in both the HUD and the map.

Devs have stated that when 12v12 is introduced, each friendly lance of four will be different shades of blue. It is likely that lances will be either determined by weight class or choosable before the match.

Having premades a different color would be used for exclusionary purposes more often than not.
