The voting thing doesn't matter? Thats one of the primary things that makes our government not a dictatorship, if you want to argue that the electoral college is a mess, well I agree with you, but likening our system of elections to a dictatorial regime is the highest form of reductio ad absurdum.
Congress is full of ignorant robots? Fallacy. They have more power than the executive branch, this is an absolute truth. The "robotic" perception comes from it's beauracratic nature, and the miles of red tape they need to cut through to actually do anything. I agree that their hands are often tied, but they are far from useless.
