I was hoping to invoke a discussion about getting ballistics moved client sided (or atleast, semi client sided like lasers) and/or their fire delay also reduced, so that us with more than 100 ping can actually hit stuff with them.
For those doubting the difference, multiply your ping by 2 and add about 500ms (some client sided base delay); that's about how much time you have to try and fire ahead.
Roughly:
100 ping: 0.6 seconds // americans
200 ping: 0.8 seconds
250 ping: 1 seconds // oceanic players
400 ping: 1.3 seconds // europe/oceanic players
Also, for whatever reason, the visual for ballistics are (very ~2-3 seconds) out of sync with the red hit indicator on the cursor and the enemy mech damage HUD flashing. This is only on 250 ping.
