Is the knock-down of light Mechs ever coming back?
I play a Jenner 50% of the time so I'm not just someone in a "big" mech complaining.
I thought it was much more realistic when I had to be careful about where I was going and aware of what is around me at all times.
I really miss the knockdown, am I the only one, or do others out there think it should come back?

I do not mind the knock down, although in the past, some knock downs were out of whack. I light knocking down a afk atlas. Was waiting to see a domino effect of a few afk mechs. One mech knocking down one mech, then the other behind,...and so on. Needed adjusting, not removed.

I was wondering about this, they should bring that back and something I always wanted was more crashing damage, If you get all your weapons destroyed you should be able to do a kamikaze run against a mech to do some serious damage (you would be killed but you would not go alone

If properly implemented, knock-down would be nice to have. For example, when a Jenner hits a right sight of an Atlas, the Jenner may trip over, but the Atlas would barely shake. Whether or not a mech will fall should depend on a number of factors, such as terrain, robot weight, shape, running speed, torso rotation, i.e. take some real-world physics into account. Then you could have some Atlas bump a running Jenner down with a slight torso twist. Solution for Jenner is simple - don't run close to big guys.
To discourage bumping, mechs should take damage, proportional to how collision happened. For example, have internals take greater damage, than armored parts of the body. This would eliminate kamikaze behaviors, who have all their weapons destroyed and have nothing to lose, unless that other mech has the same problem.

You'd get a lot better feedback if you included a poll.
