More mechs
more mechs.
the exuisting mech made more conformal with their intended function.
what was done was clever. the Centurion is really the enforcer too. abnd the hunchbake is also everyother medium
the treb is the treb the wolverine the griffon ETC.

the sane was done with the catapult.

fix the hardpoint systen it's stupid. Sorry but there is no other word for it. the concept that a hardpoint which can carry an AC20 can only fit one MG is staggering in it's lack of reason.

the way the engine sizes have been changed heavily favours the lights. and is part of why we keep seeing lights casually destroy assaults. the original system is tested and works.
enforce traction and footing rules. the physics of high speed motion in vehicles with high ground pressure.

Fix the lame *** ridiculous hardpoints. if you wan't the more limited and need a way to enforce Designe limits. Then use some variation of the MW$ system.

how hrad would it be to make the capture point on conquest randomly placed. and or amake them or some of them supply crateres to be gathered/destroyed. (Sopiling raid) bigger randomly generated maps would be nice as well. everyone knows where to go what to do on what we have.

While I'm thinking on it there is a glaring problem that isnt redily apparent.
one of the things which isn't obvious the armour pattern and balanceing was created for a game in which back armour shots were rare and hard to come by. one of the few things the DEVs didn't **** was the armour layout. . precision targeting is easy and in fact the standard light mechs as so maneuverable that rear armour is a given in this version of the game the whole armour paradigm needs re thinking. If modern tanks were expected to be hit in the rear routinely they would have much better rear defence.

the reward system encourages hotdogging and minimizes teamwork. mechs need enhanced rewards for doing thier "Job" light need bonuses for scouting assists and captures and lowerer rewards for kills.

assaults and heavies need higher rewards for what the mech is fitted for and atlas D for example is a killer it needs rewards for that. stalkers on the other hand are made to support other assaults. mediums and higher need rewards based on ther build. I'f nothing else let the play hit a check box iding his intended role.
