*Title is suppose to be "Against"

So I'm tired of the meta game of ECM and mechs that are tweaked to the ultimate.

I was thinking about just making a new account and playing purely trial mechs.

Is that viable at all? Did the matchmaker do it's job and I'll be playing against similar setups?

Or am I just going to be that 1 guy in a trial mech against a bunch of people in tricked out mechs still?

I did the exact same thing you are thinking. It will take about 10 matches for you to be in cheese territory again.

Hunchbacks ARE good mechs.

I have fun, and do well in, "bad" centurion configurations, and by that I mean configurations that aren't SRM boats that use right arm ballistics.

No, trial mechs are not seperated out. In fact, your Elo is by mech weight. So if you used a Flame a lot then took a trial Catapult, you would get treated the same as if you took out the Flame again.

Yup, exactly what happened. Actually only took 2 matches to start seeing ECM heavily again.

I was on a team like 4 or 5 trial mechs against a team with 2 or 3 ECM and a bunch of catapults.

I guess I'm just over this game at this point.

I play pretty much only Centurion's normally, but I just don't enjoy ECM. SRM cats, DDC, Raven 3L and 4 or 5 other mechs you see basically every game.

Well keep in mind, it's a completely new account. But I guess since it starts me at 1300 ELO or something instead of 500 it's all the same crap.

If I could just get matched with trial mechs for about 30 or 40 games. I'd remake my account every week.

What? I enjoy stock. My computer sucks so im never really competitive. Using an AC is near impossible. But the Ddc-3l-Catapult-stalker game is boring.
