I'm having that problem every once in a while. Most of the time, it will disappear after you try to reboot the launcher (you can just kill the process in the task manager if the patcher does not start after 10s). One time however, I kept getting those error reports, redownloaded the client and did a new, clean install. Since then, I did not have the problem that it completely denied me from starting the patcher, but I still get those carousel errors.
Sent a report containing the logfiles to support, but since I did not get an answer with a solution to it, I guess they are still looking into finding one.
