Hey all,
So I've elited four mechs so far. So far I've reached master level on the Jenner, Cicada, Hunchback and the Cataphract. My question now is a relatively simple one; which do I work on next?
Should I work on an assault next? It's the only type I don't have.

Jagermech on Tuesday, that might be an idea.
Maybe doCataphracts for something different?
ETA: Doh, I meant Catapult like everyone else.

Catapults, Awesomes, or Stalkers, embrace the missiles.

if you have money, patience, and a lot of time. I guess assault would be good...

Catapult. The cheesiest mech. Whichever variant you would buy you will be doing just fine.

I would go either catapult, stalker, or wait for jagermech on tuesday based on what you currently play.
Catapults and stalkers are great for energy and missle boats. The catk2 is a good AC20/Gauss ballistics platform, but it should be out-classed in this role by the Jager.

Sounds like your missing an assault mech from your list. In all honesty I'd say do another light in the mean time that's cheap (like to Commando) and wait for the Highlander next month.

I would recommend anyone new stay away from the awesome and the dragon until you have too many c-bills and are bored. Both mechs take alot of money and alot of skill to be effective on the battlefield. The 9M awesome is close to 21mil by the time you get it kitted-out, and that, by itself, does not guarantee success. As for the dragon, I think the Flame is the best chassis, which costs MC, which would be a deal-breaker if I was free-to-play.
This is my advice after owning 40 mechs including dragons and awesomes.
Good luck and good hunting.
