Hi all
I am a sim racer as well as mech pilot and thought I would see if we could get the makers of simvibe to support MWO

first let me explain what the simvibe software does
it simply takes data ( not sound ) from the game and uses it to fire transducers ( buttkickers ) to make your cockpit shake.

I run it in my sim racing rig (cost me about 300 bucks to set up )when my right front tire hits a bump I feel it on the right front of the sim cockpit. if the left rear slides out over a rumple strip .. you got it I feel it in the left rear transducer. The immersion this delivers is incredible so much so that if I was asked to choose between using 1 monitor ( I have triples at the moment ) and my simvibe set up or no simvibe and triples I would choose the simvibe 1 monitor setup without hesitiation.

it can control up to 7 different transducers with multiple user defined effects for each !

So imagine your heading out to battle in your hunchback … you feel a rumble alternating between the left and right side of your cockpit as you walk along. Then you feel a a small vibration that moves from the bottom left of your seat to the top right and hear the distinctive tinkle of machine-gun fire in coming. You turn to face your opponent brining you AC20 to bare and fire as your whole Mech (sim cockpit ) shakes … how Awesome would that be

having used it in my sim racing cockpit I know its possible if we can get simxperiance to support the game.

I asked they said they have never heard of MWO and if they get high interest they will consider new titles.

I have no affiliation at all with the company but would really like to build a kick but sim cockpit and this would be ace !!!

So to make it easy please copy and past this message ( or wright your own ) to the guys at simxperiance about the simvibe product and send it too

CustomerSupport@SimXperience.com

"Could you please support mech warrior online in your simvibe product as we want Awesome sim cockpits like our sim racing and flying counterparts "

Thanks all hope this works out as it really is Awesome when you get it up and running on the racers
Cheers
Bops

I suspect that it requires a joint effort by both parties. It may be that the SimXperience provides a SDK to the game devs, or it may be that SimXperience needs PGI to provide certain information... But I doubt either one could do it alone.
