Change your Mech See if it changes the frequency if Alpine. If you don't already.

But you got Frozen City variants 18 times, Forest Colony variants 19 times. I cant believe you didnt get River City more often.

Ouch that is quite a bit more walking and standing indeed... but it's a bigger map afterall and that's sort of the intention. Not to create more boring time but to give players sufficient time to work out strategics and also well... it's just so much less of a run up and kill ya map, if ya kno what I mean.

People are sick of what has been the first real MW map to be put on this game. Sad sight. Well, they need to give us the ability to pick the map we want to play, so I can pick Alpine day and night while you stick to your runt boxing arenas.

I've gotten Alpine 25/130 games. It seems like I always end up there as my ratio is almost 20% Alpine.

Still Alpine made me spend more time than City or Colony variants combined.

Wow I hadn't taken that into account, I just added up my time spent in 26 matches from 2 other maps(an 11 and a 15), 2 hours 4 minutes.

My 25 Alpine matches ........................... 3 hours 5 minutes.

no they just need to fix alpine, more time, bigger cap times, add some trees, tunnels maybe , night time snow storm also 12 vs 12
then this map will be great

I don't need luck. Some of actually know how to build for beyond 300m brawling. We do get less C-Bills in longer matches, but that's not an issue of luck.

I love this map, but agree the cap timers should be scaled to the map size.

Try running. Or soothing driving music, like "Life is a Highway," or "Convoy" or "Radar Love"...

It would help if alpine looked finished, or detailed in any way.

or had any cover other than gigantic mountains you walk up at an 80 degree angle

or wasn't covered in hideous ground textures

or if the ground didnt warp around the edges of your screen while you walk

or or... nvm

That's another thing they borked. They increased the Conquest ticker speeds since the maps were so small. Then they released a huge, properly sized, map. But they didn't slow the tick speeds back down for it. Now they're much too fast for this map. They said it would eventually be unique on a "by map basis". Why isn't it already? That should have been done with Alpine on the first day. Now the Alpine matches end before a slow Mech can even get across the map. If you aren't 100k+, Conquest blows nutz on Alpine.

Or so many Artemis LRMs. Or people generally can't run back to base to prevent a cap.

I love Alpine... although I have to admit it's slightly less enjoyable when I run my 4sp or a stalker w/ srms.
