So this is just a sampling of the ELO threads I found when I used the "Search function". I hope PGI gets the point here and I think they have. If you find any I've missed and want to add them be my guest and do so. I hope this thread helps those who feel the need to post more about ELO and want to enjoy some interesting reading....

No. And ponies are a lame show my 3-year old daughter would watch... for girls.

What's the question? Is this about Elo being bad or the idiots that can't figure out Elo doesn't actually do anything (despite being told many, many times)?

when you know i've actually made my own thread on it

http://mwomercs.com/...lo-is-the-word/

you know the subject has finally got it's fat lady to sing. yes it is a dead horse but like cheese mechs ecm missle are wrong etc new players put stuff together from torment experiences and start the roller coaster again. it will never end until some percieved "fix" happens... yeah i'm bored typing this stuff. moving on.

I realize they are working on ELO, but the problem is they aren't taking class matching/battle value into account. Until they figure out that ECM is broken and OP and start factoring that and go back to class matching we'll have the screwed up battles we currently are.

I also will refuse to pilot anything other than an Atlas-DDC.

I realize there are tons of posts but there also were regarding ECM and they still haven't got a clue. There's a reason why BattleTech had some of the rules it did and when they ignore them and do their own thing they get this crap of a mess that is a major turn off and costing them fans/players.

Tried to get two new players into the game the other day who were recruits from WarThunder and were excited about the game. Several hours later they were cussing and pissed off and ready to quit as we faced match after match of serious imbalance.

So, now I go with the highest ECM mech I can and you know what? I'm leading matches again. Go figure...

Never underestimate the power of narcissism. It's so much better to create one's own thread on (insert gripe here) than it is to contribute to an existing thread on the topic.

Ponies...

That being said, the ELO doesn't seem to be that big an issue, the MAIN issue I see is that there's no weight balancing like there was previously. I had a match the other day that saw my team with 2 Assaults, and the enemy with 5...

The weight balancing as it used to be, MIXED with the ELO system would go a long way to fixing the match maker problems.

It's about there being too many Elo threads, which forced some guy who's sick of Elo threads to make an Elo threads thread. Might almost be amusing if he knew he was trolling instead of just doing it by accident.

it constitutes approximately half of the posts in general discussion. It is causing players to lose in MWO which is highly unacceptable.

At least those threads are more interesting than the 3 threads made by the same troll about wanting to turn chat off (in a team-oriented game) so his rugrat can futz around ineffectually and screw others' gaming experience up without having to read the predictable responses to same. :D

If it screws you it'll be worth it.
