It looks like others have received this error as well:
http://mwomercs.com/...on+was+detected

You might try reading through those threads to see what others have done.

I'd also contact support if you have not already.

This is not the only place this issue is being posted. And I have had a belly full of this issue and MWO support staffs blaming it on my hardware. I really am getting to the point where I feel they are not happy with their paycheck. Anyways, this time I had done a fresh install of win 7 on my new ssd drive. Well, it seems that IExplorer 10 is causing some kind of issue with the MWO patcher because I was unable to get it to detect my internet connection, until I uninstalled IE10 and let it role back to IE9. MWO support staff have no clue or interest in solving these issues and they basiclly told me to go fly a kite. I do not like that. And I really do not like not getting paid to do thier job for them. I'm sorry I've been crapped on tonight and I am just plain pissed.

It's likely that the OP's problem and yours are not the same. Please don't crap all over other people's threads because you're frustrated about your problem.

No just turn off the software firewall on you computer, patch, and then turn it back on.

I don't remember if I was getting the very same error, however I had a similar issue a while ago. It turned out to be a DNS resolution problem.

I changed the DNS I was using for my internet connection and presto, problem solved.

I've worked on this problem backwards and forwards. And if Iguana is getting the same MWO Support I'm getting they have no answer and they do not plan on getting one. So if you don't have the answer don't crap on my input, smart guy.

Sarcastic post.

You're the one posting the exact same b!tching and moaning (likely copied & pasted) in several threads that likely have nothing to do with your problem ... which is no input at all. I'm trying to keep things friendly by reminding you of that ... again.
